Don't You Dare

I often sketch/draw things related to Urami's story, I Can't, but tend not to upload most of them because of spoilers ;v; Starting now, I'm changing that! I wanted to start with this one because I feel like it sums up the relationship between these two rather well. Urami's quite awkwardpuzzling, which made her interesting at first, but now Yami just finds her annoying and selfish--and still puzzling. Urami was scared half to death of him at first, but thanks to an unfortunate misunderstanding (alluded to here), with every encounter, she's less afraid and more depressed, angry that he won't forgive her.

This took way longer than it should have, but I wanted to use it as practice for working in grayscale/tones, because I'm so used to illustration that I want to shade every minute detail. :3c So here I tried only to shade what was necessary and leave the rest as "tones".

This scene takes place on the heels of a fight, the same day as this picture:

[...] "I’ve had enough of you!"
This time, true to her word, sensing that dark aura did not frighten her. Rather, Urami was annoyed.  "You were about to break your own rule!" she protested, now recovered enough to stand again. "I had no choice."
Realization dawned briefly on Yami's face, but the next moment, he put his back to her, saying nothing.
"Guys, come on. Cut it out, will ya? Let's just get back to enjoying the day."
Urami sighed wearily and looked up at Jounouchi with a pleading look in her eyes. She didn't want this day to continue, not if it was going to mean more of the pals forcing her and Yami into each other's space.
His back still to the group, Yami spoke Urami's sentiment. "I've had all that I can take."
"At least let's finish it off with hot chocolate," Anzu insisted, trying to sound cheerful. At that, Yami turned, and Urami could see that his entire nose was still red from her headbutt. For half a second, she felt bad. But then he spoke again.
"The next time you decide you want to spend time with me, leave her out of it."
"But-!"
His eyes met Anzu's.
"I will deal with forgiving her in my own time, in my own way."
